Welcome to the Dilly Bag!

Dale started this business with a dream.

That dream was to create a business which displayed the pride that Aboriginals can feel about themselves and their culture, and to do this in a way that was non-threatening and non-judgemental about others.

Our passion is to allow both indigenous and non-indigenous to feel comfortable in learning from and about each other.

In a way that clearly demonstrates and shows mutual respect and acceptance.

The Dilly Bag is the result of this dream and passion.

A place where we offer the best of Aboriginal - from culture to food - and an environment where it's safe to be curious about our culture, and how we can benefit from sharing.

Whilst we believe that we can mutually build the best of both worlds we don't want to lose ours. In short - we want you to be proud of our pride in our culture and to feel comfortable about letting us feel and enjoy that pride.

The Dilly Bag gives you direct access to genuine and authentic Aboriginal foods.

Dale runs a whole range of Bush Tucker Workshops, Classes, and Demonstrations and is a well established professional Chef who is actively and personally involved in promoting Australian Bush Tucker to the world. Please see Dale's history in the "About Us" section as well as the information on the "Nice Projects" where Australian Bush Foods are promoted to some of the top Chefs of France.

We are a genuine Aboriginal Business which has NOT been funded by either Government or the Community, and we sincerely appreciate your commercial and emotional support.

So, once again, thank you for your visit, and thank you for your support.

"After tasting your food at an Indigenous presentation at work for Naidoc Week (2006) we decided using this "tucker" for work catering purposes would be a great idea. I checked out your site and have been fighting back tears ever since. This is the type of idea I've been wanting to see from the Aboriginal community all my life - you guys standing up and being proud can only help your young people to do the same. Great to see Australia presenting Australian traditions and not the colonial habits we've been subject to for over 200 years. You guys are deadly!"
